Okay. So it's been such a long time since i last updated this blog. Got busy bb's.^^

These pics have been in my phone for a couple of months already. Gotta delete them so had to post this immediately.

I found nothing really special in this room. All that wood and they call in country style?

Okay, this is a follow-up to our little adventure at Prince Court Motel. We got a taxi room. I was a bit excited of what the theme will be this time.

Before entering the actual room, you have to go through this little room. I forgot what this kind of room is called... It's quite small. Probably for privacy purposes and possibly more than that! If you know what I mean. LOL. The door to the left is to our room and the other one is the main door. So in we go...

When I got in, I asked, what's tonight's theme? It took me quite a while before knowing. The idea was not that obvious kasi, at least to me. Saw lots of pictures of advertisements on the bedroom wall so I was like...commercials ang theme? Sirit na I said. Looked at the guidelines at the back of the door. It says...
Oh so that's why the room was very colorful. Bright colors. It was like a journey to the past with all the pictures on the wall. During the retro years, approximately 1950's to 70's, things were very geometric in style... everything was big, chunky, and colorful (fashion)..almost psychedelic... hmm... RETRO STYLE. Could it possibly have enhanced our little adventure there? he he he

Every room din yata talagang may little round table and two chairs... Just on top of the table ay set of menus that you can choose from. We have been at Prince Court a couple of times in the past but we have never tried any of their food. Ano kaya oorderin namin? Mukhang masarap mga pagkain nila ah.

We ended up not ordering anything.This is how our bed looked like. Still got that orangy feel going and ads theme on the wall. Cute. It wasn't really pretty pero pwede na rin..

and look, very convenient talaga kasi every room has these:

a switch for the TV and radio right on the wall near the bed... does wonders! ;)
a telephone beside the bed para all your requests will be granted at kapag time is up na kayo at tumawag na sila, madali lang sagutin without, you know... he he

The personnel that led us to our room was kinda pilyo. Ilagay ba naman sa not for kids channel?! kuya ha! hehe. I jumped on the bed and watched TV. Inilipat ko of course... hindi naman sa corny ako pero tapos na ako sa mga ganyang palabas. And besides ang ingay kaya. Sounded so fake. Hate it.

Then my honey took a shower na. I can see his silhoutte through the frosted glass window. How sexy. When it was my turn to wash up, I took pictures of the bathroom. Kahit dito talaga Retro pa rin ang theme. Bright orange pa rin ang color... 2 towels, 2 sachets of shampoo, 2 bars of soap. Pwede na rin. Ligo na ako.

Overall comment: Well I was kind of disappointed since we had better looking rooms in our early visits at this famous Davao City short-time inn, pero okay na rin. It would have been more exciting if we took a V.I.P room instead. Til next time!

Security and Valuables

Please lock your room. All valuables such as jewelry, substantial cash, etc. must be deposited with the cashier. Also, please lock your car. The management is not responsible for anything lost or left by the guest trough their own negligence, theft or forced majeure.

Checkouts

Please give your room attendant about a minute to check the room before you leave. Also kindly surrender your room key at the counter upon leaving the hotel. If you wish to have any of the items inside the room as a souvenir, Please inform the Officer-In-Charge (OIC) and we will let you have it at cost. Missing items or damage on properties (including vandalism or Graffito) inside your room will be charged to you correspondingly.

Important

To keep you satisfied, we maintain EXACTING STANDARDS OF EXCELLENCE which demand the highest level of discipline, respect, and courtesy on the part of our personnel. Although our people are trained to be efficient and courteous, they are also human and can commit mistakes. You can help us cut down errors.

Check the room number on your chit. We are computerized, but human errors, such as faulty key punching or accidental switching of chits are possible.

A few employees might be tempted to solicit tips. Should you have any misgivings, we would welcome your complaints. Ask for the Officer-In-Charge or call this telephone number at 225-8088.

PrinceCourt Simple Guide

Okay, now you know about the little adventure that me and my boyfriend had at PrinceCourt Motel last week. Here is a little guide for anyone who hasn't been there yet. You are probably curious about this Davao-based hotel that's why you are reading this so to feed your curiousity, I have thought of posting some of the pictures that we captured while we were there. We are not in any of the pictures of course! I intend to just share these pictures to you through this blog since information about this Davao-based hotel is lacking... I will remain anonymous okay so wag na itanong kung saan ako sa picture ;) Let us call this "PrinceCourt-tutorial for Dummies". Okay here we go...

PrinceCourt is located at J.P. Cabaguio Avenue Agdao, Davao City. If you have a car then it will be easier to get there. However, If you don't have wheels and plan on getting there jeepney style, ride route 4. It will take you there. Once you get there, a bellboy will be right at the entrance to guide and assist you.

If you choose to get a V.I.P room, it is just on the first floor and it has a garage where you can park your car. If you fear na baka may makakita sa inyo, do not fret kasi bubuksan ang garage, pasok car ninyo, then isasara ang garage... You can have all the privacy that you want. Once you're done, you can just call them and ask for a car service that charges Php100 para ihatid kayo sa downtown or wherever you like. Kung may car kayo, of course you just have to call them also to inform them that you are checking out. Kung ubos pera, baktas na lang pagawas tas sakay jeep, lingaw pud... he he

Kung Taxi room naman kukunin ninyo, pareho din except there is an extra step of having to go to the second floor where the taxi rooms are located. Posibleng may mga makasalubong kayo sa stairs or sa hallways so be prepared if you're still shy about it. Okay.

Tungkol naman sa Fiesta rooms, I can't really tell you anything about it except that it's Php195 per 3 hours. My boyfriend jokes about it. He goes "Unsa ng Fiesta rooms, murag buffet ang mga couples? All in one room?" ha ha.

Prince Court has Different Themes

PrinceCourt has become popular in Davao especially among the yuppies and college students. I have always wondered why this is so. It's accessible, it's affordable, has cable tv and so on...You can have reasons of your own... But I can say that one of the things that sets PrinceCourt from other Davao hotels and motels is the different "themes" they offer for every room. Actually this is quite funny... I can't believe I'd be blogging about Prince Court. Who else has done this? he he he. But anyway back to the themes thing... oo nga quite interesting ang iba't-ibang themes sa PC. I can't name lahat for all of you basta I know that it includes a room that has a giant bird cage (it's like love birds kayo ng kasama mo), junk shop style, cars (the bed is inside a car!), beds in jets, titanic beds, bus, Hawaiian inspired (may mga puno kuno), what else... basta name it, I think they have it there!;).

I've tried searching for pictures of Prince Court rooms but failed to find anything. Had I known before that I'd be blogging about this, I would not have deleted some of the pictures of our s*xcapades in my old phone.. he he he. Anyway, there I was, trying to search for pictures. No luck. Til recently i stumbled upon Davaosale.com's forum... seen people there talking about short time inns in Davao City. One of them posted PrinceCourt's V.I.P rooms.. aha! I sent a private message to that person right away but he hasn't replied. I wanted to ask permision from him so I can use the pictures in this blog... Currently awaiting his reply. I'll be posting the pictures here as soon as he grants me rights to use the pics. Take care!

Rooms and Rates at Prince Court

As far as I know, there are Three room classifications at PrinceCourt...

V.I.P rooms - First 3 Hours: Php350

Extension Per Hour: Php80

Half Day Rate: Php700

24-Hour Rate: Php1000 (Check-out time at 12:00 Noon)

Taxi rooms - First 3 Hours: Php250

Extension Per Hour: Php65

Half Day Rate: Php400

24-Hour Rate: Php650 (Check-out Time 12:00 Noon)

Fiesta rooms - First 3 hours: Php195

My boyfriend and I have been in the first two types of rooms. We tried getting a Fiesta room a couple of times before (for the sake of knowing how it's like) but the bellboy would always say "puno na baya sir". I thought, really?! or you just don't want us to get a cheaper room? Bummer!

My classmate, Alvin, once told me that bellboys at PrinceCourt would always tell you that all the Fiesta rooms are taken. He added it's because they want you to get a taxi or a V.I.P room. "Ay dili gyud dong, Fiesta ra mi!", he jokingly tells them. Then the bellboy would go check and lead them to a fiesta room which is the cheapest of all the rooms there. Smart ass. ~~By the way, Alvin is gay.~~

Our 'Little Adventure' at Prince Court

Hello guys! Just like what I have mentioned in my previous posts, my boyfriend and I took pictures during our latest visit at PrinceCourt ~~Motel~~ Hotel and Restaurant. I started taking pictures ~~the moment I got off the car~~ while in the car. The plan was to take pictures of the vicinity, the amenities, and the room so we can share them to you all. My boyfriend goes "psst basig bawal!" It might be against the motel's policy so it was like a shoot and hide thing.

My boyfriend took a picture of one of PrinceCourt's signage (above). As you can see it says Php280 for VIP rooms. But it's not Php280 anymore. Actual price of V.I.P rooms is Php350 per 3 hours and Php80/hour extension as I have already shared to you here. As the name implies, it's V.I.P so it's better than the other rooms. Sa experience ko, VIP rooms are always on the first floor. A VIP room has it's own garage where you can park your cars or kung nagtaxi kayo. If you want more privacy, then the V.I.P room is for you. Pagbaba mo ng sasakyan, pwede ka na pumasok agad sa room ninyo. yep yep.

Pero no to VIP room for us this time. We decided to get a Taxi room. Taxi rooms are cheaper and are located on the second floor of the building so up we go!

If you want to risk being seen by other people, then pwede kayo sa taxi rooms since it's on the second floor of the building. Ilang beses na rin kami may nakasabayang couple, either waiting sa may receiving areas sa second floor or newbies who do not know what to do once upstairs. (a bellboy will just lead you to your room, don't worry)

We Checked in to Take Pictures

Just recently, my boyfriend and I intentionally checked in at PrinceCourt Hotels and Suites last week just so I can take pictures and share 'em to all of you. Yes.. hehe. It wasn't really our first time there. We have been there a couple of times already, in fact we had pictures of ourselves there, ~~lil remembrance, you know~~ but i eventually had to delete them all because I got rid of my old phone. Anyway, where was I... During our early visits at PrinceCourt Hotel and Suites, we used to get a V.I.P room but later on, as budget became a lil bit tighter, the Taxi rooms became more pocket friendly.

For those of you who still don't know where PrinceCourt is located, it is at J.P. Cabaguio Avenue, Agdao, Davao City.

Hi. You are probably wondering why this blog was created. Well here's the reason why... when i googled the keywords "prince court motel" I found out that there's not much information about it. I know that Prince Court is quite popular especially among the college students and yuppies and I want to atleast try to feed information about this Davao motel...
